Increasing Volume?

Post by MD_SANDERS »

I have VirtualBox running on my macbook which is running Mac os X (Snow Leopard), I have installed Windows 7 in the virtualbox environment which is generally working well. However I use the setup to play live software synths as well as music production and am running one synth in the mac environment and one in the windows environment simultaneously. It is therefore essential that both output similar volume levels, however the volume is maxed out in the virtualbox environment and it is significantly quieter than the mac os.
Has anyone else found a good way of increasing the volume in the virtual environment (in this case running windows 7) without distorting the signal too much.

Thanks for your help

Did you check the volume in the Guest for both the master volume and the program volume? Applications and global volume are separated on Windows 7.

Yeah I'll double check that tonight but I'm pretty sure everything was turned up across the board.

Thanks
