Hello all. I just downloaded Oracle VM, and I'm using it to run Windows XP on my computer which has Windows 7 (with the intention of playing an old game). I'm not terribly knowledgeable with this sort of thing, so pardon me if this questions is woefully noobish.
I'm trying to install the game off of the disk. I told VM to "host drive E:" where the disk was located. The virtual machine had a D: drive with the disk in it, and it let me look at the files, but when I tried to run the setup, it said "D:\setup.exe is not a valid win32 application". I tried opening the readme.txt, and it said "Canno open...make sure the disk is in the drive you specified". Lastly, I tried to copy the files to the desktop, and it said "cannot read source drive".
What do I need to do to access the disk?

Re: "Cannot Read Source"
try turning passthrough on in the guest settings for the CD/DVD and see if that helps.
