Hi everyone, I'm new to the VB & maybe not ready for this, but I really want to learn it.

I have installed VB 4.0 onto Ubuntu 10.10, been searching google, the manual & this forum, So I'm probably just not understanding what I'm reading.

I am trying to install Kubuntu 10.10 which I have saved to my desktop as I don't want to use cd's, although I wouldn't mind using a usb stick.

When I click "start" on VB, I get the error: "Fatal: Could not read from the boot medium, system halted.
Can anyone help me to get this thing started please?
I've been trying for 2 days :?

i guess you want to install from the iso you saved to the desktop?
assign the iso in the guest storage settings: Image
