Hi there,
Big up for VirtualBox, it is so easy to setup and so very fast... I am amazed.
My question:
I have a USB stick with a bootable linux on it. I'd like to have a virtual disk of it on which to boot in VirtualBox, how do I do that? Thanks for advice.
(BTW, I tried installing "plop" to boot on the stick with VB and just succeeded in not being to be able to boot my linuxbox any longer)
I have as well a working bootable CD-ROM of the same linux config, which works nicely with VB, but then I can not save configs from one boot to the next.

To sum it up: I'd be happy to copy this linux config onto a virtual drive and boot on it.

Basic procedure, may need to be tailored: use disk imaging app similar to dd to create a raw image of your USB stick. Then use "VBoxManage convertfromraw" to convert this to a VDI file. Create a new VM around the VDI.
