Linux re-install is needed after every VB restart

Post by JRMC »

For some reason, everytime I re-open VBox and start Ubuntu it pops-up a window with two choices. One to Try it and another to Install it. The problem is that I installed Ubuntu already and it happens everytime. I install it, close the machine, close VBox, start VBox and it asks me again. (I'm trying to install Linux Ubuntu 10.10.)
I really need to get this working for my course. Any suggestions?

Well remove the install CD/DVD or image from the virtual CD/DVD after you have installed the guest and before you reboot.
It's the exact same thing as leaving it in a real CD/DVD drive.
