I am running windows 7, 64 bit version with virtual box 3.2.12
I tried loading fedora 14 i386 version, and it loads, and I can get in there. Then when I reboot poof it is gone.
I have loaded it fine with another machine that is running 32 bit version.
Any clues?
Thanks ahead of the time

Re: Fedora 14 on windows 7 64 bit
This is what I do to load Fedora 14
System: HP i5 with 8 Gig of Dram
OS: Windows 7 64 bit
Virtual Box 3.2.12 r68302
Fedora 14 -i386 DVD
I go into Virtual box and select new virtual machine. I name it Fedora with os of linux version Fedora. I select memory size of 1 gig, then for virtual hard disk I create new hard disk with the boot hard disk selected. I make it dynmaically expanding storage, location FedoraHardDisk, size 20.6 GB then click finish. I then go into settings, and select storage. Under the IDE Controller, it has a disk showing empty. I highlight that and then in the CD/DVD Device I select the iso image which is stored on my desktop. I then select ok. I then start the VM, and install the software. The software at the end reboots and I set up the individual user on the account, and the system comes up as expected.
Then, when I close the Fedora 14, stop the virtual machine, then restart the VM it can not find the operating system, and I am back in the intial step to load the Fedora 14 again from the beginning. This is what poof means.
On this pc, I am able to run Ubunt correctly. Also the aforementioned process on another system running windows 7 32 bit mode I can load both ubuntu and fedora 14.
Any help would be much appriciated.

Re: Fedora 14 on windows 7 64 bit
One other fact.
Right after I log into the fedora after installing it, i look at the directory and there are two thing in the computer folder, the File System and vg_betafedor14 the name I gave this virtual machine. I can go in the File system, but not the bg_betafedora14. it says unable to mount location.
Thanks ahead of time
