cpu with vt-x needed on Mac OS X Hosts?

my pc has an Pentium Dual Core T4400
i used virtualbox on windows7 without problems.
i installed mac os x 10.6 (with iboot)
i can not use virtualbox on mac os x (error vt-x not availble)
on system-profiler my cpu is listed as core2duo.
cpu with vt-x needed on Mac OS X Hosts? or is iboot the reason?

iBoot is a hack to run unauthenticated copies of OSX. Buy OSX in a Mac Store and install that instead.
