My PC never came with the Vista install discs since Vista was already pre-loaded from the manufacturer. How do I tell Virtualbox that I want to use Vista and please don't tell me that I have to use Ubuntu, etc..., I want to use Vista but do not have the MS Vista install discs since they were never given to me (as is typical with many new PC purchases).
Thanks for any and all replies,
Dan

Look into the tutorial section/windows guests. There are howtos to use native installed windows version in VBOX.

Re: using host OS for guest OS
Thanks!
One last question: When I run the Disk2vhd utility it is requesting >85GB ; I would hate to dedicate all that space since I only plan to run VirtualBox every once in a while. Does it make sense to delete this space and recreate it by rerunning Disk2VHD each time I plan to run VirtualBox, or is there a better way?
