New External Monitor Issues - v.4.0.0

These issues were around slightly when v.3 first released but they were fixed before v.4. Now they have resurfaced.

Before, if I put a VM in full screen mode, it would fill which ever screen I had the VM on. Now if I have the VM on my external monitor and put it in full screen mode it fills the main laptop screen. I read that you can adjust this using the "View" setting on the toolbar. The "View" setting did not have any options to select. Just a blank box. I was able to rig this by telling the VM to use 2 screens, set the main screen then change the VM back to 1 screen. I shouldn't have to do this.

After that I realized that whenever I had the VM selected my main laptop screen would glitch and the menubar and dock would disappear. This would be ideal if I was using the main screen but really sucks if I am using the external monitor. This issue happened in a previous release but it had been fixed.

Is anyone else having these troubles? Is there a setting I may have missed? Please help - this is very annoying.

edit: I should add that using the view menu does allow me to switch to my 2nd dislay, but the dock and menu on my main display keeps disappearing when I click on the VM display.

Same issue here as well. I used the 'View Menu' to put the screen back on the second monitor and it seems to be working there now. I can switch between full screen and windowed modes and it stays on the second monitor.

Ok, so the latest update did not fix the Dock disappearing problem. I have posted a ticket for it. (Ticket #8118) Now we play the waiting game.
