Uncontrollable mouse problem

Post by Chevels »

Hello :) ,

First, sorry if I make mistakes  . I'm French and I try to improve my English but this is not always easy.

Here is my problem:
I use Virtualbox 3.2.12 (Host: Windows 7 64bit / Guest: XP SP2) for a few days and everything works fine except the mouse in 3D gaming. I said, they are less demanding games such as Wolfenstein Enemy Territory or Urban Terror. Besides, they start fine but the mouse is uncontrollable. In fact it's so fast that it is impossible to use the games. Looks like it's related to 3D because the other software works fine.

I did extensive research on the Internet but I can not find useful information on this problem. Only a few people having the same concern but have got no answers ...
For this reason I am asking for help here.

Is this a known problem? Is there a solution?

Goodbye and good day

Thank you! It works better now. But there is still a problem: the mouse will stop often against a "virtual fence", as if it were the edge of the screen. Trying several times the cursor happens to cross this "barrier" but the problem again regularly. This time the problem occurs even in the windows guest.

Is there a solution?

Bye :)

Thank you for your reply
I'll try this solution by plugging in a mouse in the guest system. I hope someday the developers will correct this problem if they know how.

goodbye and good day :)
