Mouse not working on a vm

I am getting a issue that I need assistance with.

in my vm ( which i restored ) has a issue with vm additions ps2 port mouse

is there any information anyone has that can assist me?

this is a windows server2003 vm on a vbox server running win 2008 server r2

sorry everyone, i figured it out.

i was IN the virtual machine and changed the mouse driver from vm additions microsoft ps2 port mouse to just microsoft ps/2 mouse

works now after a reboot of vm.
