Changing UUID For Cloned VDI

I have two Windows XP VDI files, I currently have one installed, when going to manually add the second virtual box, receive an error stating the UUID's are the same. I have done some research on this, finding the sethduuid command. When doing this all the happens is it opens my virtual box manager GUI. The UUID does not change. anyone have some experience with this?
