Unable to join windows 7 to domain

Post by dalmata22 »

I'm on a MacOsX 10.6.5, running VBox 4.0
On a bridged network adapter I have a windows 7 x64 guest running, but i cannot join it to my domain (ip, dns etc are correct)
I can ping my domain controller, then...

When I enter the domain credentials it start loosing pings... (no firewall active)

Anyone can give me some help?
Thanks

MS woos? No idea without some additional information about the network and diagnostic results. On my Ubuntu Host, I have successfully added a W7 VM to my domain at work.

If i start a ping against the Domain Controller, on the background, and everything's ok
Now, I go to computer properties, set the domain...
I'm asked for domain credentials, I insert domain credentials and...
ping goes down...
can't figure out why...

Network goes down? Firewall rules change from Private/Work to Domain? Plenty of things to investigate.
