Hosting with a VirtualBox

Hi, I'm new to the forum and hoping I can get help from this great community.
I have tried many Virtual Machine software like Virtual PC and VMware. Both have failed my needs. But VirtualBox has been really easy to install and very lightweight, in my opinion. It takes seconds to install and rarely needs updates, Unlike VMWare where it takes a long time to find the download, then it installs many things, then requiring many computer restarts, and Virtual PC (by Microsoft) only works through Windows Update which takes longer. VirtualBox has been excellent!
So to my problem, I am running Windows Server 2003 through VirtualBox. I am trying experiments like hosting, and please note that I am pretty much a beginner when it comes to Virtual Machines, so when I install a web server (IIS) it works fine, I type http://localhost and it comes up with the "Under Construction" page. But my issue now is how do I get that working on the internet? So people on the internet can access that webpage? I can access the internet fine on the VirtualBox with Internet Explorer (I can open google etc), but I have no idea how to access that hosted website externally.
This isn't urgent, but just for my experimental education purposes. I hope this is possible though and hope someone can help.
Many thanks,
Terrum.
