exchange docs between mac os X and guest ubuntu

hi everyone
it has seemed to me so complicated
very simple indeed
on my mac os X.6.5 i have definited a "bird" folder in the public folder
i have given to "bird" all the autorisations
on my ubuntu 10 on VB 4
i have installed the VB additions
then selected "network"
mac os X hd appears then public folder the "bird"
so simple...
no terminal needed...
