Hi all,
I have installed virtualbox 4.0 on Mac OS Snow Leopard and installation went fine. However, I am unable to connect to the internet as it does not recognize network adapter. I tried to change the setting in 'Network Adapters' on Virtualbox but none worked. Can someone also experienced this issue? It's asking for the network adapter drivers..and I am stuck. My adapter is PCnew-FastIII(AM79c973). This shows up in the adapters list on virtualbox but vista is not recognizing it. Any help is greatly appreciated.

You need to use the IntelPRO 1000 MT adapter in Vista as stated in your VirtualBox users manual.

Thanks PerryG, but I cannot select my adapter in 'Network adapter' tab. Its grey button and the default selected adapter is PCnet as mentioned in my previous post. Also, I tried to follow the section of manually extracting driver software for AMD card but unable to do so.

The guest MUST be shut down before you can change these settings.
