Installation Failed Error installing VirtualBox 3.2.12

I get the following error, every time I try to install VirtualBox 3.2.12 onto my Mac Mini running Mac OSX 10.6.5:

I've even tried uninstalling and then re-installing, including trying the install after a restart, but I still get the same error. VirtualBox seems to start after the failed install and I can start my VM, but I don't know why the install is failing.

I had a similar problem with my vm turned out it was a kernel error caused buy one of my applications and had to re install 3 weeks later.Have you tried an in place upgrade of the OS then updated your mac.Then try the upgrade of VB.
