Mac OS / XP Guest - control alt del = force quit?

Post by chris47 »

I've successfully and smoothly intalled XP as a guest os in a Mac Air OS X. I cannot take the next step to intall office because I am being challenged with control alt delete to log in (to the virtual machine). But control alt delete (/ command option esc is force quit .. what am I missing. I can't install MS Office

Since when do you need to enter Ctrl+Alt+Del to install Office? Is that a new feature in Office 2015? Haven't seen it in Office 97, 2000, XP, 2003, 2007 nor in 2010.
Have you checked the menu items and keyboard shortcuts to enter special key combinations?
