new to vb

Post by efisher93 »

I am trying to use winnt4 workstation on vb in linux mint 9. I am running the iso from my hard drive. NT starts to set up then vb gives a critical error. I am really new to all of this and would like clear help. Thanks

Not enough information to be able to help.
Forum Posting Guideline

We are going to need the error message to be able to figure out what the problem is. Also the guests settings you are using.

We are really going to need to see the guests log file.
The BSDO message is too generic. Usually means that a driver is missing.
Set the sound to SB16 and the NIC to the PCNet III. Also memory requirements for NT were a lot smaller then today (512MB) would be enough.
Don't forget to install Sp6 as soon as you can. NT in VirtualBox will not work properly until it is installed.
