Guest res issue?

Post by rns112 »

Hi,

I'm having some serious issues with customizing virtualbox res.

I have guest additions installed but this is not making much of a difference.

The max res I can achieve is 1680 x 861

I'm running win xp sp3 as guest and win 7 ultimate as host

Has anybody had the same kind of experience and can help me out with this?

Thx

Rns

Where do you see that resolution noted? in the display properties when the VM window is maximized? Don't trust it, go to full screen, then you will get to the resolution that's the same on the Host.
