Bridged adapter worked with XP guest, not with Windows 7

I have VirtualBox on a Mac Snow Leopard host. One guest is Windows XP. The network adapter is set to Bridged Adapter, and network connectivity seems to work fine; I can browse internet, use files and printers from a file server, and join the state's active directory domain. IPCONFIG /ALL shows an IP address of 10.8.86.159, which is the correct subnet for our organizational unit.
The other guest is Windows 7. If I set the adapter to Bridged Adapter, I have no network connectivity. If I set it to NAT, I can use internet and access files and printers from a file server, but cannot join the active directory domain. IPCONFIG /ALL shows that I have an IP address of 10.0.2.150.
I do need to join the AD domain with Windows 7 to do some Altiris and other configuration. If I have to, I'll use a physical Windows 7 box, but I was really hoping this would work.
Thanks in advance for any help.
