Hello, i'm currently enjoying Virtualbox on the latest Ubuntu distribution and i'm trying to get one of my favourite games to work in Virtualbox.
Currently I can get the game running but the only issue is a very slow frame rate (1-10fps). I have allocated the maximum amount of video memory to the VM as well as a nice slice of ram. I enabled 2D and 3D acceleration + the 3D option when installing guest additions.
The game itself is running at the lowest possible settings at a pretty low resolution.
Is there anything else I can do to improve the framerate? If so this XP VM will be perfecto!
Thank you for your help.

No, nothing to change.
Dont expect much vga performance through emulated devices.
Install windows native via dual boot.
