Snow Leopard Host/XP SP3 Guest: Doc Folder = Shared Folder

I am having trouble accessing my Home Folder (specifically my Documents folder) or any folder in my Home Folder tree, as a Shared Folder. I've searched the forum and I'm not coming up with anything. There's likely some magic words (or command line with options) that I'm missing somewhere), can someone help me out; or at the very least point me to the right direction/resource so I can use the data already on my PC without having to use something like DropBox or Windows Live Mesh to sync data to my Guest OS?

FYI - I am using the standard VB build for Mac, and have already installed the Guest Additions.

Thanks!

Never mind... found it. I placed the following command in my autoexec.bat file on my XP guest:

net use x: \\vboxsvr\dropbox

and changed the My Documents directory to use x:\ as its path. I should be good now...

Moderator, please lable me a SEVERE n00bie and kindly close this thread.

We leave this kind of topic open for other newbies ;). But if you execute the command 'net use x: \\vboxsrv\share -p', you won't need it every boot. The -p option makes it persistent, so it survives a reboot.
