It has been asked before, and I have searched the forum and read the manual, but I am still confused!
Most of the instructions seem to be PC related.
I would like to move my win7 install to a new mac. Preferably without having to reactivate it.
I have no snapshots
I have 3.2.10 with 3.2.10 guest additions.
(I have had a bad experience in the past with migration assistant so don't want to use it).
Both macs are running 10.6.5
How do I go about it?
Thanks
How do I move my VM from one mac to a new mac?

Re: How do I move my VM from one mac to a new mac?
You should get a happy VB if you copy the entire .VirtualBox directory to the other Mac on the same location. I don't know where VB puts it on a Mac, but if it's in ~/Library/.VirtualBox, you would use the same location on the other Mac for it.
Let's test this first, before trying other methods.
