Hello,
I recently installed VB with Windows 7 on my Mac. Windows 7 runs well but I cannot install games with multiple disks. The system installs from the first disk but does not recognize when the second disk is put into the computer (the computer recognizes it). When I try to click on the button to continue the installation, nothing happens. If I click on the "cancel" button, I get the standard "Are you certain you want to cancel" box and may either resume the install (putting me back to where I was before) or cancel. I tried unmounting the first disk and mounting the second but it made no difference (or perhaps I did it incorrectly?).
I have very limited tech experience so I may be missing something very simple. I appreciate any help/direction the board can provide!

Re: Cannot Install Games with multiple disks
VB isn't made for games, so you have to keep that in mind, 3D is not the best there is.
When you swap discs, you should unmount the disc in VB and then mount it again. You do this by clicking on the Devices menu, or right click the disc icon in the status bar and select 'unmount CD/DVD drive'. Then when you swap the disc, you select your physical drive from the list again. The Guest should now see the difference.

Yes, I've tried to unmount and then mount the discs but that doesn't seem to be working. I am still getting the same error.

Re: Cannot Install Games with multiple disks
Create ISO images of the install discs and try it that way. It's a work around, but if it works..
