I am seeing this problem again with Fedora14 updated with the latest updates and kernel 2.6.35.12-88.fc14.i686. Can't get VirtualBox to run it for more than about an hour straight.
I set grub to boot the original release kernel 2.6.35.6-45.fc14.i686 and I have had it running now for about 24 hours, so it's looking good.
Host is Windows 7 64-bit, guest is Fedora 14 32-bit. VirtualBox 3.2.12 being used (I has so many problems with 4.0.x that I went back to version 3.2.x).
Anyone else having the disk I/O & lockup problems with recent Fedora 14 kernels? Anyone know what the latest kernel was that didn't have this problem?
Fedora 14 freezes up.

Re: Fedora 14 freezes up.
I'm having this problem with fedora core 14 and 15. I solved it in 14 with the clocksource=jiffies kernel boot parameter.
The jiffies clocksource fix didn't seem to work in 15 for some reason, but after enabling hpet and disabling acpi with vboxmanage I'm stable again.
