Resolution Problem!

Hello i have a windows XP pro.
Now is the problem when i start a game he cant change the resolution from 1024 X 768 bit- 32 to 800X600 Bit-16
Everytime i get a crash when i start it

Can somebody help me? :)

no i dont start windows in safe mode. the games are: for my son: rayman 2 the great escape and a race game for me: colin mcrae rally 2.0

No, I mean installed the GA in safe mode? That's required, it's in the User Manual.

Hello again i tryed to install rayman 2 for my son in Safe mode but the satup cant start.
The set-up will start if there is an 3D Videocart found and a Sound card

Plz help

You have to install the GUEST ADDITIONS in SAFE MODE! Honestly, you got so many hints towards the manual, it's described there yet you do not what it says and what we are saying here. It's NOT about the GAME, but the GA.
