I've been using vmware products for a while but am looking at virtualbox. Big question for me is if the product has any kind of management interfaces for monitoring guest resource utilization. For example, can I see the percentage of assigned memory in use, or the number of bytes per second being written to disk by a specific guest, and so forth
Thanks

Re: monitor guest resource consumption?
Well,
from my understanding you can install snmpd on the host and put queries to the 'VBoxManage metrics'-command.
From there you're free to use for example 'cacti' for graphs.
Has anybody done such a thing?
