No Sound on Windows98SE guest

Post by ufolev »

Hello All

My host OS is WindowsXP Pro
CPU DualCore AMD Athlon 64 X2, 2500 MHz (12.5 x 200) 4800+
MB Asus M2N-VM HDMI (2 PCI, 1 PCI-E x1, 1 PCI-E x16, 4 DDR2 DIMM, Audio, Video, Gigabit LAN)
VCD ATI Radeon HD 5500 Series (1024 MB)

I use Virtualbox version 3.210
My guest OS is Windows98SE and I have no sound on it
On Device Manager inWin98 I see yellow Questions on:
- PCI Multimedia Audio Device
- PCI System Peripheral
- PCI Universal Serial Bus

I install DirectX7 but this do not help much.
and guest additions for this OS do not work.

Can you help me to get the sound please?
Thank you beforehand :-)

Audio set to SB16 in VM settings as it should be by default?
