I'm sure this has been asked before, but I cannot seem to find it. I have VirtualBox running on a CentOS 5.5 64-bit host, and I would like to create a guest of the same specifications. I have the .iso, and I've tried to set it up in the Virtual Media Manager, but when I go to start the machine with the CD/DVD set to that or any other .iso, I get an error:
Unknown error creating VM(VERR_VMX_MSR_LOCKED_OR_DISABLED).
The details say this:
Result Code:
NS_ERROR_FAILURE (0x80004005)
Component:
Console
Interface:
IConsole {6375231a-c17c-464b-92cb-ae9e128d71c3}
Have a failed to set something up correctly?

Re: Installing guest from .iso
This means that you are running another virtualizer, or you do not have hardware virtualization turned on in your bios.VM(VERR_VMX_MSR_LOCKED_OR_DISABLED)
Re: Installing guest from .iso
The bios for the host? I'll give that a shot.
