Re: Mouse lag in AutoCAD
Could you also try if disabling the DnD service is enough for fixing the mouse lag with your guest?

Re: Mouse lag in AutoCAD
DnD service?
Disabling drag-and-drop and clipboard sharing didn't help in my case.
By the way, mouse lag seems universal for my winXP guest setup and not AutoCAD-specific. I have opened a new thread on the issue...

Re: Mouse lag in AutoCAD
Try add this to the guest:
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Terminal Server Client]
"Min Send Interval"=dword:00000005

Re: Mouse lag in AutoCAD
"Terminal Server Client" key is found here ([HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Terminal Server Client]) on my setup, what should I add and how?

Re: Mouse lag in AutoCAD
You used "regedit", right?
1) Select the "Terminal Server Client".
2) On the right side pane, right-click and select "New -> DWORD Value".
3) Rename the key to "Min Send Interval" and change the value to "5". Personally I'm not sure that it will have any effect because you don't seem to be using Terminal Server to begin with...

Re: Mouse lag in AutoCAD
Replying to the original poster,
any chance that the desktop screen size is bigger then the laptop's? Please, have a look at this related thread I have opened.Gothicawakening wrote:Both computers are pretty similar, what could be causing the mouse lag on the desktop, but not on the laptop?
