Everything you need can be found using google. Use it.
None of this has anything to do with VirtualBox and as such is outside the scope of this forum.

I was able go get them to ping each-other.
Now... how to get internet?

You need to look back at what I said that you needed to do and read the information on the link that you say does not help you.
You need to read it several times and understand that the only thing VirtualBox does is give you the connections to do what it is you are wanting to do.
For the actual setup you are going to need to read up on how to achieve this as it is outside the scope of this forum.
Perhaps you should sign up at the Microsoft social forums and ask them to teach you how to do this.

I did give you the rest. go back and read what I sent you. You need another guest set to use (2) adapters. One set to the internal and one set to NAT. This will be used as your router.
Any more about setting this up needs to be addressed to Microsoft. It has nothing to do with VirtualBox.

DOS will not work. NT-4 might but the configuration would be way above your head.
You can use Windows xp and ICS or download the pFsense that I have indicated in the tutorial.

Right now i'm using a stripped-down copy of XP (Performance Edition) but so far i'm having trouble.
No worries! I'll get it to work. BTW: is there a link to pFsense?

Which way did you decide to go? Is it the Win XP with ICS?
If that is the selection you made you need to have 2 virtual adapters with one going to NAT and the other going to the internal network. You will need to give the internal network a static address and this will be the gateway for the other clients as well. You also need to turn on ICS in the Windows guest that you are using to substitute a router.

If you are using pFsense the first time you run it you need to answer the questions to setup your router. It too needs the (2) adapters to work properly.

Yes, XP with ICS. There is a hand icon (NAT). I have the network IP (Internal)subnet is 255.255.255.0.
And the NAT is set to automatically configure itself. I also have the gateway set to 10.0.0.1 on the other (2) computers. I still get the Connection icon with the /!\ like icon on it.

run ipconfig /all in the xp that has ics and ipconfig /all in a guest that is connected and post the results here.

Did you turn ICS on in this guest?
