I moved this question here because it seems Mac VirtualBox specific.
Any Linux distro guest that uses animated busy cursors bounce around. It has done it on every Linux "flavor" I've ever installed. The symptoms are the same as before where animated cursors jumps around while "busy" etc. They are fine pre-guest additions and don't start "jumping" until the GAs load. I know there was a post about it here eons ago. I was wondering if anyone has ever found a fix? The symptoms seem to be the same as they were on some nVidia cards on hardware, which required turning off "HWCursor".
thanks
p.s. I have a Windows XP SP3 guest installed and it doesn't have the same problem.
