I have a new install of 3.2.10 on a Win7 64bit Professional Host with 8 Core Opteron / 16GB RAM / Dual Intel NIC's. Setup a new VM (Windows 7 32bit). 1500MB RAM allocated, 20GB HD allocated. Bridged Networking. I set the Remote Display Server Port to 8000. I statically assigned the Virtual NIC. Am able to ping the VM. I open up the MS RDP client and enter in X.X.X.X:8000 and it will not connect.
I disabled the VM software firewall. Still can not connect. Any help would be appreciated. I perused the help documentation but not much there for me to work with.

Re: RDP not working
Host firewall?
Also look at virus software that filters IP as well.
Oh and the x.x.x.x is the hosts IP address.

Re: RDP not working
If they are both Windows OS and bridged, why not simply use WIndows RDP and the target machine's name?

Re: RDP not working
Thx for the assist. I was hitting the VM's IP, not the hosts.
