vRDP clipboard sharing

Hi,
On a headless hosts in seems obvious to disable clipboard "sync"..... but whatever the setting I always end up having the clipboard been shared between the vm and the "client" if I use Microsoft RDP on the bridged Nic but I can't get it to work using vRDP (i.e HostIP:port) !
How do you make vRDP share the clipboard between VMs and the connected "client".
I have "vrdpmulticon on" as well BTW.
