Windows guest install question?

Post by bobmct »

I use VirtualBox installed on a Windows 7 machine and I've been able to install multiple guests both linux and windows successfully. However, I am trying to install Windows SBS 7 beta without success.
I've downloaded the sbs7 beta ISO and burned it to a DVD. But when I try to boot from it there is no bootable image. Unlike other ISO images I've used this DVD seems to simply have directory and files.

Can anyone suggest how I can install a test VM under Vbx with this SVS7 DVD?
Any guidance/advice greatly appreciated. :?:

I've never heard about SBS7, so since you say it's a Windows OS, it's a fake.

SBS 7 is the beta version of Microsoft's Small Business Server software. The next version. I would make sure that I had a valid copy of the beta and burn it again.
There are instructions if you go to Microsoft. If you obtained it from anyone else then you more than likely did not get the complete package.
