Snapshot on 2 HDD Guest

Hi,
I want to run a windowsXP sp2 guest on a headless ubuntu LTS where the fisrt SATA disk is "protected" by a shanshot while the second SATA disk runs without shanshot
!
Any idea how to start the shapshot on that VM on 1 disk only ?
