capture Win7 and bluescreen

I used the tool DISK2VHD from Sysinternals.com to capture my current Win7 system.
I now got a .vhd with 2 partitions (the hidden boot and the system partition)
When I start the virtual machine it get's a blue screen and reboots so fast that I can't read what's the problem.
Before I dig deeper in it I ask:
Is it even possible to capture a WIN7 image or are there security based problems in using it in virtualbox ?
update:
on secure-boot it gets up to point of loading "CLASSPNP"
Bluescreen attached

Try VMware-converter-3.0 which does a much better job in a p2v and v2p.

sorry but the actual v4 converter does not handle .VHD images.
At least I need a .VMX file as a basis which the converter does not produce.
Any help or enlightment ?

got it now.
I sysprep'd the local PC first and captures a WIM file.
The WIM I burned to an ISO and attached it to a CD-Drive.
é voila
I will write a TUTORIAL on that in case anyone else is facing this question.

Much to diffecult, vmware convertor installs and runs from inside the machine you want to convert, the output -a vmdk file can then be used anywhere.

Have you tried Ruth win7 cos I did which leads to a bluescreen. That matter is discussed somewhere in the forum. It might work on winxp but 7 is different
