640x480 when back from full screen

VB 3.2.10 on host Ubuntu X64 10.04 LTS with guest XP sp2. And the host has 1920x1200 desktop.

Host+F enter full screen mode, and then Host+F back from full screen mode, the guest XP will set desktop to 640x480, how to let it keep the original 1400x1050?

If using VB3.1.8, When a 1400x1050 XP guest enter and leave full screen, it restores to 1400x1050, not change to 640x480. How to teach VB3.2.10 to behave like 3.1.8?

I revert to VB3.1.8 fro a temporary solution.

I don't see this problem. Use the mouse click drag, or the windows MAX button to set the guest to as full as it will get then shut (not saved a real shut down) down the guest. This will save the settings in the machine control file. Start the guest and try the full screen toggle and see if it works better.

I try another guest (also XP sp2), for the fist several times, come back from the full screen will be OK, say 1920x1200 to 1400x1050. However, later at some time, when back from full screen, the guest's desktop is set to 640x480, and from then on, I reset the desktop to 1400x1050, when return from full screen, it always set to 640x480.

for 3.2.12, (virtualbox-3.2_3.2.12-68302~Ubuntu~lucid_amd64), the problem still exists: from 1400x1050, host-F enter full screen, host-F back from full screen, the XP guest resize destop to 640x480
downgrade to 3.1.8, works fine.

seems partially solved in VB4.0. Not always resize to 640x480, but sometimes.
