Hi Guys, I have installed Ubuntu 10.10 and installed the latest version of VirtualBox from their website. Now everything got installed without any issues. And I created a WinXP image as well. And as usual the machine also started working but I am facing issues while I am making ICMP requests from my Ubuntu Host to that WinXP machine. I am able to ping successfully (without any loss of packets) from VMware WinXP Image to my Ubuntu Host but while I ping from my Ubuntu host to WinXP image then I am not able to, where as Internet is working in both the OS. I issued sudo iptables -F to flush the IPChains but still I am not able to ping to my WinXP Image. I am fully stuck up here and not able to proceed further. I am not able to figure out that how I can resolve this issue!!!
Please help. FYI, I have chosen bridged network for that newly created WinXP Image.
Thanks,
Ping24
