I have big problems with USB devices in virtualbox. Sometimes it is working fine, but then if I unplug the device, and plugin the same device, or another device in the same USB port, or another USB port, I get an error on the WindowsXP GuestHost.
I have tried setup USB filtering, which seems to be a little better, but not a lot.
When I get this error, I have no other choice than to restart the host computer, it does not help to restart the guest OS.
When I select the item in the USB section on the VM, I get this.
"Failed to attach the USB device Unknown device to the virtual machine MACHINENAME.
USB device 'Apple Inc. iPhone'.......
"
Any ideas, to how I could solve this?
