Hello
I have searched the forums for anything with my needs but didnt find it specifically.
I am atempting to install an original copy of win 98 on VB in vista, I have the original floopy boot disk but my computer is a modern notebook which has no floopy drive. How exactally do I work my way around this? is there a way to convert my floopy via another PC to a emulated format that is recognizable by VB?
Thanks

Re: Notebook Floopy Boot disk Issue
a copy from the floppy device into a file works when using unix dd command
i don't know what to use on Windows, there may be floppy image tools available ...
Code: Select all
dd if=/dev/fd0 of=foobar.img
