Usb Devices
I installed 3.2.10 on mac os x 10.6.3. Then i used that to install windows xp home. It all works fines but i have a usb external hard drive that i want to use in the vm but it does not show up. I can see it in the list but it is grayed out. I also made a usb device filter. That did not help. Is there a way to make the wm windows xp home see and let me access the drive?

I am no expert on MACs but there are two things that I can tell you that might put you on the right track.
(1) if you are truly using the OSE version you will not get USB to work as it does not support USB.
(2) Everything that I have read from others that get this to work is you must first un-mount the device from the host before you will be able to use it in the guest.
