Recommended software for making ISOs for VirtualBox?

Hi
I'm new to Virtualbox, and am trying to install a brand-new boxed version of Windows XP on a virtual machine. I have so far used 2 different ISO-making pieces of software to rip the ISO of the original Windows CD. Both resulted in VirtualBox giving me errors on loading the ISOs. I need to use an ISO as the machine running VirtualBox doesn't have a CD drive.

I have read that VirtualBox can be a bit 'fussy' on the format of an ISO, so was hoping someone could point me to a reliable Windows-based ISO ripping tool that works well with VirtualBox?

The disc I am using is flawless (it's literally just be taken out the box), so the disc is not the problem here, probably just the finer details of how the ISO is made.

I use UltraISO from EZB Systems.

I would also recommend the ImgBurn application, which is not only excellent, it is also completely free (unlike the previous recommendation).

if you have linux, dd works.

Thanks for all the recommendations - I used the UltraISO demo this time - the demo will rip a CD to an ISO. I will try ImgBurn next time - free is better

I'm not using Linux on these machines, but will bear dd in mind if I ever need to do the same under Linux.
