I am unable to copy and paste in either direction when the Host is a Mac OS 10.6.4 with Virtual Box 3.2.10 going to Ubuntu 10 either 32 or 64. I am able to copy and paste to windows. It is really amazing that the Windows X community is still having so much trouble with copy and paste. Can someone tell me when it will be fixed and if there is a known history of it working and then not working there are 100s of messages about copy and paste issues and I can't use a system that doesn't support copy and paste with some ability to fix it quickly when it breaks expecting users to use notepad and files is a productivity drain.

Re: 3.2.10 Copy Paste Clipboard is broken to Ubuntu
Are the guest additions installed (in the guest)?
Only issue I have is that it sometimes dies on a Windows host after a long period of up-time and needs to be restarted.

Re: 3.2.10 Copy Paste Clipboard is broken to Ubuntu
I'm using VirtualBox 3.2.10 under OSX 10.6.4, hosting ubuntu 64 bit ( uname -a : Linux sym-ecl-vm 2.6.32-25-generic #44-Ubuntu SMP Fri Sep 17 20:05:27 UTC 2010 x86_64 GNU/Linux ) and can easily cut and paste from ubuntu to osx and the other way around. I think you have a problem with guest additions.

Copy Paste Clipboard is broken for Windows.
Host&Guest - Windows XP SP3 Russian, Last Guest addins are installed.
Sometimes VBox crashes at Guest shutdown. Copy at Host are transferred to Guest successfully, but not backward!

Re: 3.2.10 Copy Paste Clipboard is broken to Ubuntu
Clipboard is indeed broken in 3.2.10.
Host Windows XP SP2
Guests: Windows XP SP3, Windows 2000 SP4
For the above the clipboard is broken both ways despite the bi-directional setting enabled. Also tried un-installing GA, rebooting and re-installing GA 3.2.10 but still is broken.
The only current workaround I have is to logout->login or reboot the Guest after which the clipboard functions but dies shortly afterwards.
Strangely enough, I have a Debian 5.0 Guest that does not have a problem with the clipboard... on second thoughts, that Guest is running GA 3.2.6

Re: 3.2.10 Copy Paste Clipboard is broken to Ubuntu
Just a quick update to say that I am having a better experience when installing GA 3.2.6 in my Windows XP SP3 and Wink2k guests running on VirtualBox 3.2.10.
