Unable to Enable Aero in Windows 7 64-bit Guest

I've searched these forums and the 'net extensively and, while I've found a lot of how-to's that either don't work or don't provide any troubleshooting if their process doesn't work as well as mentioning of it in these forums, most of the information is over a year old and 3d acceleration is now supported in VB.

The issue I'm having is that am unable to enable Aero in the VM. I'm able to run a Windows Experience Index assessment without issue, but the "desktop experience for Windows Aero" and "gaming graphics" ratings are both 1.0.

Here's my configuration:
Host:
Windows XP 32-bit
Intel Dual Core 2.66Ghz CPU
3GB RAM
ATI Radeon X1300 video card

Guest:
Windows 7 Enterprise 64-bit
2 CPUs
128MB of memory allocated to video
2D and 3D enabled
Gues Addons installed with 3d acceleration enabled

Any help at all would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

There is no Aero-support in vbox.

Oh. Hmph. I thought all we were waiting for was video acceleration. What's the use of video acceleration if Direct3D or a WDDM isn't available?

Sue Microsoft for not providing any documentation on that. The VB devs have to practically reinvent the wheel for this.
