Lemmings under Win 98

Post by SimplyPurple »

Hi There
I found this while searching for help with Lemmings:
MPIGuy wrote:Now for the ultimate goal, create an image of the old Lemmings game and install it on my Windows 95 vm.
I set up a Win98 guest (using the excellent tutorial to sort out my sound and video) so I could resurrect Lemmings and Lemmings Paintball. I've installed the software and thought I could create an iso of the CD - as VB is used to, however the software is insisting on the CD being in the drive. Is there a way of getting the software to accept an iso as a cd?

No, there is a security system on the disc and that prevents things like this. What you can try is to use the physical disc and enable Passthrough in the VM settings for the physical drive.
