hello,

i have a question using virtualbox 3.2.0 . little bit difficult to explain what i want to to with virtual box...

on my PC exists a partition C: to start MS vista home premium 32 bit. this partition also uses partition P: und partition M:
recently I installed MS W7 64bit home premium on a therefore created new partition S:

the PC is configured as dual boot using MS partitionmanager.

On the vista-installation there are some programs which are strongly registered by manufacurer (p.e. garmin maps und other).
it takes a lot of time to install und register them new on W7 - thats really no fun. so I want my vista-installation to stay on my PC - there is really enough space on the HDD.

my question: as I want to use the W7-installation on my PC in the future is there any possibility to use my vista installation as it is in the moment (not to make an image) - to boot ms vista in a virtual box in the momentary condition?

thats a lot, regards rainer

Maybe possible. There are several howtos in the tutorial section/windows guests.

Can you help me? thank and regards rainer
