Does anyone know how I can prove that the LPT1 port is visible within the virtual box?

LPT connection to HP DesignJet 450C (A0)
Having installed virtualbox on a Windows 7 machine, then installed Windows XP into a virtual machine, then installed a driver for the HPDesignJet 450C printer the test page does not print.
Does anyone know how I can prove that the LPT1 port is visible within the virtual box?

LPT ports are not supported in VirtualBox.

It's precisely because of that printer that i use virtualbox. No 64bit drivers for that one... but it's on another pc which i can't acess :S:S
