Switching between host and full screen guests

Please check this YouTube video:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7BtpNRgAERE - Corrected link

It was featured on LifeHacker a while ago. It's either a video montage from three different OSes, or it's VirtualBox showcasing how it can flip from the host OS to a couple different guest OSes running in full screen mode, by simply moving the mouse off the side of the screen on to the next OS. It also shows it pan back and show all three at once.

Is it a video montage? If not, how do I set this up?

Thanks!

Just looks to me like they opened three different OSes in VirtualBox and put them in three different screens.
Ubuntu does that using Compiz You can setup your PC to do the same thing.

Well, that would be the reason for my post. I don't know how to set it up so I can switch between OSes running in full screen mode. When I have a VM in full screen mode, I have to exit full screen to see my computer to switch to the host OS or another guest OS. Maybe there is a simple key combo that does this? I'm relatively new to VB. My machine dual boots into Windows 7 or Unbuntu 10.04. They access a common bank of VDIs. I would be happy to get either of the host OSes set up to do this. Thanks!

It's 3D and compiz on the host. Really has nothing to do with VirtualBox only that it is opening different OSes and then placing them on the different window. Look at the lower right part of your host. Do you see some boxes? These are different window/workspaces (desktops) what ever you want to call them. Open a guest and then select to place it in a different desktop. Then switch desktops. Make it really cool but turning on the 3D cube, and learn the shortcut keys to Compiz.

Learn the keys, ha ha ha. That's what I was trying to do by asking for help. I found this post which appears to be pretty helpful: http://ulyssesonline.com/2007/10/25/com ... shortcuts/

The Windoze "super" key + mouse scroll is pretty sweet for zooming in. "Super" + tab is a cool way to switch between open applications. And finally, what I was really looking for, "Super" + E to show all open workspaces and allow to switch between them. But once I go to a Windoze VM in full screen, the "super" key has been grabbed by the guest and I can't switch back with the same key combo. I'll keep digging. :|

I've said it thousands of times and I'll say it again: hit the host key once, then the combination set on the Host to switch things.
